Leidos employees volunteered at Food Bank of the Rockies during GEOINT 2026, supporting Colorado families facing food insecurity.
During the GEOINT 2026 Symposium in Aurora, Colorado, thirty Leidos employees volunteered with the Food Bank of the Rockies on May 6, assembling meal bags and creating nutrition cards for families facing food insecurity.
The company paired the volunteer effort with a $15,000 corporate donation plus $1,400 from employees, collectively providing approximately 45,000 meals across the region. Jason O'Connor, president of Leidos Intelligence, emphasized that service to communities is part of the company's mission, even during major industry events.
Food insecurity remains a persistent challenge in Colorado, and partnerships between businesses and nonprofits play a critical role in addressing this need. The volunteer initiative reflects how organizations are increasingly using philanthropy and volunteerism to cultivate workplace culture and demonstrate company values to employees.
