CISO And CIO 2023 Predictions, With A Twist

It's the start of a new year and thus means its prediction season. I'm not certain, but I think security vendors are legally required to do so. They are in every magazine and on every social media platform.
Predictions from the CIO, the CISO, IT and Security leaders, and advisers. You can't get away from them. And unfortunately, because of the current climate, many of them spell doom and gloom, but very few offer any practical advice for the CIO or CISO.
I am going to switch things up a bit and try to make things a bit more interesting with a slightly different approach. I am going to try and predict what I think will be on the minds of the CIO and CISO in 2023. What will keep them awake at night, and then based on my experience of working in enterprise business for the past 25+ years, I am going to offer some advice and recommendations.
