Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

RHEL is an open source operating system produced by Red Hat. It serves various customer needs, which often have different lifetime demands.

RHEL follows a predictable release schedule, where a new RHEL major version is released every three years, a new RHEL minor version is released every six months, and a major version is supported for 10 years. As a result, several supported versions of RHEL always exist in parallel.
