SCG Uses AWS to Digitally Transform Customer Experience Across ASEAN

AWS announced that Siam Cement Group (SCG), a leading business conglomerate in ASEAN, innovating cement building materials, chemicals, and packaging, has selected AWS as its preferred cloud provider to accelerate its digital transformation.
To better serve customers, and drive efficiencies for growth, SCG has migrated mission-critical SAP workloads, including its enterprise resource planning (ERP) and data warehousing software for several business units, to AWS. By running its SAP workloads on AWS, SCG is combining real-time inventory and production data across operations in various locations, such as Vietnam. This helps SCG develop new services that improve the customer experience by enabling easy and secure access to various services, while reducing information technology (IT) costs by 30%.
