Cloud 1.0 was Cloud First. Cloud 2.0: Hybrid Cloud. Many organizations are now moving toward Cloud Everywhere, which many call Cloud 3.0. For these enterprises, Cloud 3.0 means securely storing, accessing, and managing applications and data anywhere - at the edge, on prem, in a Co-Lo, and in public cloud(s). When does 'cloud adjacency' make more sense than 'cloud only'?
Agility and Adjacency: When does it make sense to repatriate some data or application resources away from the public cloud?
Storage: Managing information and data flows from the Edge, to on-prem, a Co-Lo, and one or more public clouds
Security: Risk avoidance, and the role of AI to help protect and remediate throughout the technology estate
Automation: Cost management and 'X-as-a-Service' approaches to managing resources with a single control pane
Labor: Supporting Cloud 3.0 during a time of skills shortages, tight labor, and hybrid work
