Employer-led workgroups focused on priority areas needed for the creation of tech talent pipeline in Miami

Calling all local companies hiring for tech-related roles and tech ecosystem builders! We invite you to be a part of the next Miami Tech Talent Coalition meeting on October 12th, 2023.

This fifth in-person gathering is your chance to actively contribute to the advancement of Miami's tech talent pipeline. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to collaborate, network, and make a real impact! Thanks to our hosts the Miami Marlins and Ironhack!

What to Expect:

During this collaborative event, you'll have the opportunity to engage with industry leaders and gain valuable insights from the coalition's working group chairs. Here's a glimpse of the working groups that will be present:

Inclusive Tech Pipeline: Discover how to recruit, onboard, and retain non-traditional talent pools from Miami's rich and diverse community. Chaired by Toia Santamarina of GET Cities and Selenis Leguisamon (AWS). Advised by Angelica Santibanez (Amazon).

Emerging Tech: Explore the endless possibilities in entry-level technology jobs, internships, and apprenticeships. Chaired by Charles Irizarry (BRIM), Ken Finneran (eMed), and advised by Millie Acebal (Kaseya).

Tech Skills Gap: Address the need to re-skill and upskill existing employees while identifying skills gaps in the market. Chaired by Olga Naumavich (Millennium Management) and advised by Luis Lepe (Telefonica Tech).

Small Business Capacity Building: Join the efforts to create tech talent pathways specifically designed for micro and small businesses. Chaired by Reginald Andre (ARK Solvers).
