What to Expect:
During this collaborative event, you'll have the opportunity to engage with industry leaders and gain valuable insights from the coalition's working group chairs. Here's a glimpse of the working groups that will be present:
Inclusive Tech Pipeline: Discover how to recruit, onboard, and retain non-traditional talent pools from Miami's rich and diverse community. Chaired by Toia Santamarina of GET Cities and Selenis Leguisamon (AWS). Advised by Angelica Santibanez (Amazon).
Emerging Tech: Explore the endless possibilities in entry-level technology jobs, internships, and apprenticeships. Chaired by Charles Irizarry (BRIM), Ken Finneran (eMed), and advised by Millie Acebal (Kaseya).
Tech Skills Gap: Address the need to re-skill and upskill existing employees while identifying skills gaps in the market. Chaired by Olga Naumavich (Millennium Management) and advised by Luis Lepe (Telefonica Tech).
Small Business Capacity Building: Join the efforts to create tech talent pathways specifically designed for micro and small businesses. Chaired by Reginald Andre (ARK Solvers).
