The EU AI Act is a major new piece of legislation that will regulate critical AI systems. It will apply to providers of AI systems placing them in the European Union market and users of AI in the EU. As the text of the Act is being finalised, this session will provide an update on key provisions including how to deploy a risk-based approach and how to design a governance structure that provides appropriate accountability.
