Talk Title: Securing the Digital Pipeline: Unveiling the Power of Software Bill of Materials (SBOM)
Talk Summary: A significant increase in cyber attacks due to vulnerabilities within the supply chain has led to a heightened awareness of the security of supply chains and creating a software bill of materials (SBOM) is gaining traction as a good initial step. A SBOM is essentially the 'ingredient list' that goes into the making of the software.
In this talk, we will discuss:
- What is an SBOM
- The elements that make up an SBOM
- The problems that can be solved by an SBOM
- SBOM tooling
