The role of chief information officers (CIOs) has transformed significantly, shifting from gatekeepers of technology infrastructure to key architects driving digital and organizational change. This evolution reflects the increasing recognition of technology's strategic value in shaping business outcomes and competitive advantage.
Traditionally, CIOs were tasked with overseeing IT operations, ensuring the security and functionality of technology systems within an organization. However, the digital era has expanded their responsibilities.
