Oracle Touts Performance Boost With Exadata X11M

The company says the X11M will give customers substantial speedups across the board at the same starting price as the Exadata appliance it replaces.
Based on the latest generation AMD EPYC processors and Oracle Database 23ai, the Exadata X11M is designed to handle some of the toughest AI and analytics loads that customers can throw at it, from vector AI to large table scans for analytics.
Thanks to speedups in the processors, faster flash drives, and better software, the X11M delivers big performance gains for customers, Oracle says, including 55% faster AI vector searches, 2.2X faster analytics scan throughput, and 25% faster transaction processing.
