AI is evolving rapidly, and while it may surpass the capabilities of its human developers, it still is working within the language sets it's been fed. As we have seen with ChatGPT the large language sets can generate multiple answers to the same question, which helps with human creativity (including the writing of this post) It has its drawbacks when looking for definitive answers.
Enhancing the present data sets with the language sets of IoT brings a new capability to AI enabling dramatically improved predictive and prescriptive analysis.
For the United States it cannot come soon enough. The reality is that everywhere you turn our infrastructure is aging out and in need of updates and next generation solutions. Partly because the expertise that ran the systems is retiring and partly because the common components need to replace current systems are no longer being produced.
