In our latest presentation we will learn how to install the latest DeepSeek R1 (and other LLMs) locally on our computer.
We'll discuss what it means to install it locally even though you could go to their website and use it for free. We'll discuss security and other issues.
We will see how good it is compared to OpenAI and others and we'll also see how fast it runs.
But it wouldn't be a developer meetup without using it from code.
We will connect to it through Javascript (NodeJS), through Python and Also through C# and access it in a way your program could us it.
If the time permits, we will also install the model on cloud that we can truly build applications that can make money without relying on any other third party app or service.
