Complex, urgent, and an erosion of trust - these are words that make cyber-risk professionals uncomfortable. Yet earlier this year, the World Economic Forum (WEF) framed risk this way prior to its Annual Meeting of World Leaders in Davos, Switzerland.
The extensive assessment, published in the WEF's "Global Cybersecurity Outlook 2025" report, is based on research of business and public-sector leaders worldwide. The report, now in its 20th year, has documented a complete change in the risk landscape since it was first published and reveals how much business risk fluctuates yearly.
