Mark Houpt started in the Navy and now serves as CISO for DataBank, a major data center provider. Here, he describes his career trajectory and shares his insights on how tech execs function in the modern C-suite.
Mark Houpt first discovered his technological talents while rewiring a computer lab in high school. He later entered the US Navy where he served as a cryptologist and then moved to the private sector, where he worked his way up from being a help desk tech to the C-suite. He now serves as CISO for DataBank. The company operates dozens of data centers nationwide.
