Hitachi Vantara LLC, data storage, infrastructure and hybrid cloud management subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. announced that DestekBank A.S. has deployed its Virtual Storage Platform One Block (VSP One Block) to support the bank's expansion into retail banking and strengthen digital service delivery.
The new infrastructure provides the performance and scalability DestekBank needs to meet growing customer demand and fuel future growth, while designed to deliver 99.999% system uptime.
DestekBank, one of Turkey's youngest and fastest-growing financial institutions, needed to scale its infrastructure to support thousands of new retail customers and a sharp rise in digital transactions. However, aging, siloed systems were increasing operational complexity and limiting performance. To support its retail banking expansion, DestekBank deployed Hitachi Vantara's VSP One Block, combining high-speed NVMe architecture and adaptive data reduction to deliver fast, efficient performance.
