Google Rolls Out Image-To-Video Capability to Google Vids Powered by Veo 3

Google LLC is updating its artificial intelligence-enabled video app Google Vids to make it more accessible and powerful for teams to generate and edit video content.
New features include an image-to-video experience powered by Veo 3, Google's state-of-the-art video generation model capable of producing audio alongside video. With this model, users can provide prompts to generate background sounds like restaurant conversations, birdsong, city traffic, or character dialogue. It can also produce rich, creative narrative visuals to accompany the sound design.
'Teams can transform their photos into dynamic eight-second video clips with sound,' said Google. 'This means you can upload a product shot, or company stock photography, and use a text prompt to create animated video clips with native audio that are aligned with your brand.'
