Goal:
Empower diverse teams to create practical tools-ranging from simple apps and dashboards to creative data visualizations-that increase awareness, improve preparedness, or support decision-making for climate resilience in Florida.
Hackathon Objectives:
- Develop AI-powered tools (apps, maps, graphics) that help Florida residents and authorities predict, prepare, and respond to flooding, hurricanes, and heatwaves.
- Foster interdisciplinary collaboration across developers, designers, subject matter experts, and community advocates.
- Create tangible prototypes that can be further developed into real-world solutions after the event.
