You have probably heard a lot about prompt engineering. Last year, it was the big new skill everyone was talking about. We all learned how to write commands to get AI tools to give us good answers. AI assistants and copilots are now appearing in almost every software tool we use at work.
This was an important first step. Learning to write a good prompt is a useful skill. For large companies, however, it is not enough. Relying on individual employees to write perfect prompts every time is not a real strategy for success. The next big step for enterprise AI is moving beyond the single prompt.
