This is spurring research and development into new interconnect technology, which was the focus of the recent Hot Interconnects (now HotI) conference.
Like the annual Hot Chips Symposium, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers has hosted an annual Hot Interconnects (or HotI) conference to showcase the latest advances in interconnect technology. This year's event took place virtually over three days in late August 2025.
