Demystifying Cyber Risk Quantification: A Practical Introduction to FAIR
Summary:
Cybersecurity leaders are increasingly being asked to express risk in business terms-but how do you translate technical vulnerabilities into financial impact? In this session, attendees will be introduced to FAIR (Factor Analysis of Information Risk), the international standard for quantifying cyber risk in economic terms. You'll learn the basic components of the FAIR model, how it differs from traditional heat maps, and why leading organizations use it to prioritize investments and communicate risk to executives.
