Google expands its security ecosystem with new Unified Security Recommended program

Google Cloud announced the launch of Google Unified Security Recommended, a new program designed to consolidate its expanding security ecosystem and provide enterprises with validated, interoperable partner solutions that work with Google's identity, threat detection and cloud security platforms.
The program launches with three inaugural partners - CrowdStrike Holdings Inc., Fortinet Inc. and Wiz Inc. - all of which already integrate deeply with Google's security stack.
The idea behind the program is to simplify a landscape that Google argues has become increasingly fragmented as organizations deploy dozens of security tools across cloud, network, identity and endpoint environments. Rather than forcing security teams to evaluate complex integrations on their own, Unified Security Recommended vets partner capabilities and ensures they interoperate cleanly with Google Security Operations, Google Threat Intelligence and Security Command Center.
