Fortinet Unifies Cloud Risk Management In FortiCNAPP

Fortinet has significantly expanded its FortiCNAPP cloud risk management platform by integrating network security posture, data security posture management, and runtime validation into a single, prioritized workflow, IT Brief Asia reports.
The update aims to solve the operational challenge of tool sprawl and visibility gaps, which a company report identifies as the top barrier to effective cloud security for nearly 70% of organizations. FortiCNAPP now correlates configuration issues, identity exposure, vulnerabilities, network enforcement, data sensitivity, and runtime behavior to prioritize risks based on actual exposure and business impact. Senior Vice President Nirav Shah stated the enhancement moves teams "from alert overload to clear, prioritized action."
