Introducing NVMe/TCP for HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000 with HPE CSI Driver for Kubernetes

HPE, Tuesday, March 10th, 2026

The trend of doing more with less never fades. It's particularly true for data storage when we want to address more storage with the same footprint by employing larger drives, more efficient compression and deduplication while improving performance.

In the era of cloud native and twelve factor apps, deployments are getting smaller while the compute layer is growing with more cores and larger memory footprint with specialized hardware such a GPUs attached This in turn means that more connections for storage resources must be made over larger more complex and faster networks.

Today Hewlett Packard Enterprise introduces the availability of HPE CSI Driver for Kubernetes 3.1.0 with support for NVMe/TCP devices enabling customers to adopt IPv6 for their infrastructure networks without worrying about storage. Besides those two major flagship release features, there are quite a few improvements worth discussing in depth.
