When small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) think about cybersecurity, their attention tends to go toward the obvious: firewalls, phishing attacks, endpoint detection. But one of the most overlooked threats is hiding in plain sight: the office printer.
That's one of the key insights from HP's new research report, The Workflow Wakeup, a comprehensive look at how SMB business leaders, IT professionals, and employees are rethinking the role of document workflows in today's connected workplace. The research shows 57% of IT decision makers (ITDMs) say print security is a low priority in their cybersecurity strategies, while 45% are unsure whether print security meets industry compliance standards.
