HPE unveils AI Grid Solution to Securely Scale Adge AI with NVIDIA
HPE, Tuesday, March 17th, 2026
HPE has announced that it is the first vendor to achieve NVIDIA-Certified Storage validation for object-based systems at the foundation level with HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000. This certification signifies that NVIDIA has validated and benchmarked the performance for loads of up to 128 GPUs, conducted functional tests for enterprise-grade availability and reliability, and that the storage layer efficiently feeds data to accelerated computing resources to deliver faster model training, lower latency inference, and better overall utilization.
As AI inference moves from centralized clusters to regional and far-edge locations, the WAN becomes the AI WAN fabric binding distributed inference, centralized training, security, and operations into a single, coherent platform. New AI-native applications must deliver predictable latency, handle high concurrency, and improve cost per token at scale, which is accelerating the shift to more distributed AI infrastructure. Many inference requests now depend on the WAN to deliver deterministic performance, enforce policy, and coordinate activity across domains in real time.
