Artificial intelligence is everywhere. According to TDWI research, generative AI is now the top analytics priority, and organizations are embedding AI into business applications, analytics workflows, and operational processes.
At the same time, regulatory pressure is increasing, and AI systems are consuming larger volumes of unstructured and cross-platform data. Yet at TDWI we see that many organizations remain early in their AI governance journey. As AI moves from generating insights to taking action, the need for structured, enterprise-wide AI governance has become more critical. Without trusted data, traceability, clear accountability, and embedded controls, AI initiatives risk creating unintended operational and regulatory exposure.
