Mythos Changes Security's Job. Platform Engineering Gets The Hard Part
Platform Enginering, Monday, April 13th, 2026
For decades, security teams have been very good at telling developers what is wrong with their code.
Ask any developer, and they will tell you the same story. Security runs a scan, produces a long list of findings, and sends it back to engineering with the implicit message that something needs to be fixed. Sometimes that list contains dozens of issues. Sometimes hundreds.
What security has rarely been able to do is help developers fix them.
That imbalance has been part of the cybersecurity landscape for as long as most of us can remember. Security finds problems. Engineering fixes them.
Now, systems like Mythos may change the scale of that dynamic entirely.
