AI Threats Aren't Waiting

An enterprise security leader warns that AI-powered attacks are imminent and organizations must implement microsegmentation now.
Rajesh Khazanchi, a 30-year cybersecurity veteran, argues that Anthropic's Mythos model demonstrating a 32-step corporate network attack proves that flat network architectures are dangerously outdated.
He emphasizes four critical points: VLANs are insufficient compared to true microsegmentation, unpatchable IoT and legacy devices require immediate isolation, vulnerability discovery without proper segmentation creates false security, and organizations have no time to prepare before widespread AI-powered attacks occur.
Khazanchi contends that enterprises must immediately implement microsegmentation, least-privilege enforcement, and identity-aware policies to be breach-ready in the AI threat era.
