Red Hat Digital Sovereignty Take: Red Hat Confirmed Sovereign Support

Red Hat launches Confirmed Sovereign Support to address digital sovereignty concerns in EU and other regions.
Red Hat has released Red Hat Confirmed Sovereign Support (RHCSS), a premium in-region support model designed to address growing digital sovereignty demands from governments and enterprises outside the US.
The service operationalizes a three-pillar digital sovereignty strategy covering technology control, localized support, and data location within specified jurisdictions. RHCSS implements regional data isolation, role-based access controls, AI-driven data scrubbing via the SOS Clean AI project, and employs locally vetted senior engineers to handle support cases without transferring sensitive diagnostics outside the designated region.
The service is initially available in the EU and US, with plans to expand to other regions, reflecting broader concerns about US regulatory authorities accessing data stored internationally under the CLOUD Act.
