Amazon has announced new capabilities for Bedrock AgentCore that streamline AI agent development by eliminating infrastructure setup overhead. The managed agent harness feature allows developers to deploy working agents in three API calls using a straightforward configuration, supporting popular frameworks like LangGraph, LlamaIndex, and CrewAI.
New tools including an AgentCore CLI enable developers to prototype, deploy, and operate agents from a single terminal while maintaining consistency between local testing and production environments. The platform also introduces pre-built skills that give coding assistants like Claude Code curated knowledge of AgentCore best practices, reducing development errors and accelerating time-to-value for AI agent projects.
