AMD has announced Day 0 support for Xiaomi's MiMo-V2.5-Pro, a state-of-the-art AI model that runs natively on AMD Instinct GPUs with optimizations built into AMD ROCm 7 software and SGLang/ATOM.
The MiMo-V2.5-Pro model, which entered public beta on April 23, is purpose-built for complex AI tasks including code generation, data analysis, and agent-based workflows, rivaling leading models like Claude Opus 4.6 and GPT-5.4.
AMD has tuned the model end-to-end on its silicon, achieving high-throughput and low-latency inference with the MI355X GPU featuring 288 GB on-chip memory and 8 TB/s bandwidth. The blog post provides deployment guides for running MiMo-V2.5-Pro using both ATOM and SGLang, enabling developers to immediately build agent-centric applications on AMD hardware.
