Enabling Agent Computers with AMD Ryzen AI Max
AMD, April 28,2026
AMD demonstrates how Ryzen AI Max processors enable on-device AI agents to run, reason, and act in real time on laptops.
AMD announced the capabilities of its Ryzen AI Max processors for running AI agents on laptops and compact systems. These processors combine advanced CPU cores, integrated graphics, and a dedicated AI engine to enable responsive, power-efficient on-device AI workloads.
AMD showcased how a single AI agent can scale to a coordinated team of collaborative agents to produce designs, analyze data, and build applications entirely locally.
The demonstration and additional examples will be displayed at AMD Developer Day on April 30 in San Francisco, highlighting how AMD's ROCm software accelerates these AI agent workloads.
