Launching AMD AI Playbooks
AMD, April 27,2026
AMD introduces AI Playbooks, step-by-step guides for developers to build AI workflows locally on AMD hardware.
AMD has launched AI Playbooks, a collection of open-source, hands-on guides for developers to build and deploy real AI workflows locally on AMD hardware. Each playbook provides end-to-end instructions covering environment setup, dependency installation, running models, and building practical applications, with initial offerings including ComfyUI for image generation, n8n for AI automation, VS Code with Qwen3-Coder for local coding assistance, LM Studio for serving LLMs, and PyTorch with ROCm for LLM acceleration.
The playbooks are designed for developers with basic command line, Python, and AI/ML knowledge who want to quickly move from setup to working results. AMD plans to continuously expand the playbook library and hardware coverage, with community support available through Discord, forums, and GitHub for contributions and feedback.
