Anthropic Unveils Claude Security to Counter AI-Powered Exploit Surge

SecurityWeek, April 30,2026

Anthropic releases Claude Security in public beta to help defenders identify and patch vulnerabilities faster using AI.

Anthropic has launched Claude Security, a new AI-powered tool available in public beta for Claude Enterprise customers, designed to help security teams counter the surge in AI-powered exploits.

The tool integrates with Claude Opus 4.7 and can scan code repositories to identify vulnerabilities, explain findings with confidence ratings, and generate targeted patch instructions.

Key features include minimal false positives, rapid remediation (reducing days of back-and-forth to a single session), and scheduled scanning for ongoing coverage. Major cybersecurity firms like CrowdStrike, Microsoft Security, Palo Alto Networks, and Wiz are integrating Claude's capabilities, while consulting firms including Deloitte, BCG, and Infosys are deploying Claude-integrated solutions for vulnerability management and incident response.
