AWS announces Anthropic partnership on Trainium/Graviton, Meta's Graviton deployment, Lambda S3 mounting, and Bedrock AgentCore enhancements.
AWS deepened its collaboration with Anthropic this week, with Claude models now training on AWS Trainium and Graviton infrastructure while Claude Cowork becomes available in Amazon Bedrock for enterprise teams. Meta signed an agreement to deploy AWS Graviton processors at scale for agentic AI workloads.
AWS also launched S3 Files for Lambda functions to mount S3 buckets as file systems, improved Amazon Aurora Serverless with 30% better performance and smarter scaling, and enhanced Amazon Bedrock AgentCore with a managed harness, CLI tool, and coding assistant skills to accelerate agent development.
These updates reflect AWS's focus on making generative AI and agentic applications more accessible and performant for enterprise builders.
