AWS launches Amazon Quick, a desktop AI agent that continuously monitors work apps and automates tasks across multiple platforms.
Amazon Web Services has introduced Amazon Quick, a proactive desktop AI assistant designed to run continuously in the background and build context over time across a user's work environment.
The agent connects to local files, emails, calendars, and workplace tools including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, and Salesforce to draft communications, analyze data, generate insights, and automate repetitive tasks.
Unlike reactive AI tools that only respond when prompted, Amazon Quick proactively monitors activity across apps and surfaces information that needs attention. Early customers including GoDaddy, AstraZeneca, BMW, and Southwest Airlines report completing hours-long tasks in minutes, with pricing ranging from a free tier to enterprise plans with infrastructure fees.
