IDC research shows 81% of organizations are planning, piloting or deploying AI PCs as agentic AI adoption accelerates.
According to an IDC white paper sponsored by AMD, enterprises are rapidly transitioning from AI experimentation to scaled deployment, with over 80% of organizations engaged in planning, piloting, or deploying AI PCs.
The research indicates that 70% of organizations expect agentic AI systems - which can autonomously plan and execute tasks in real time - to influence employee workflows within two years. Early adopters are reporting significant benefits including faster performance, reduced latency, increased employee productivity, and improved data security through on-device AI processing.
