AWS Moves Beyond Infrastructure: New AI-Native Apps Target $300B SaaS Market

Techstrong.ai, Wednesday, April 29th, 2026

AWS launches AI-native enterprise software tools to compete in the $300B SaaS market.

AWS announced two new flagship products-Amazon Connect Decisions for supply chain management and Amazon Connect Talent for recruitment-built on agentic AI architecture to compete directly with Microsoft, Oracle, and Salesforce in the lucrative SaaS market.

By leveraging existing relationships with millions of cloud customers and integrating domain expertise, AWS could rapidly gain market share and disrupt the enterprise software hierarchy.
