Enterprises Flock To AI PCs Amid Sharpened Workforce Productivity Focus

60% of enterprises are piloting or deploying AI PCs to boost productivity and future-proof their device fleets.
According to new IDC research sponsored by AMD, the majority of enterprises are actively adopting AI PCs, with 60% already piloting or deploying them and another 21% planning deployment within 12 months.
Productivity improvement is cited as the primary driver (59%), followed by innovation and competitive differentiation (39%) and security benefits (35%). Among businesses that have already deployed AI PCs, 70% report faster performance and lower latency, while 66% note increased employee productivity. The shift reflects a broader architectural change as organizations seek more responsive AI experiences with compute moving closer to where work happens.
