Cisco Nexus Dashboard 4.2 introduces AI-driven operations, enhanced security, and unified management for modern data centers.
Cisco has released Nexus Dashboard 4.2, a comprehensive platform designed to modernize data center operations across diverse architectures. The release features Cisco Nexus One strategy for unified management across on-premises and cloud environments, AI-driven operations with Slurm integration for workload monitoring, and Live Protect security capabilities that deliver zero-downtime vulnerability protection using eBPF technology.
Additional enhancements include expanded platform flexibility with support for virtual deployments on Nutanix and AWS, a new large G5L appliance supporting up to 1,000 switches, and improved observability through native Splunk integration and enhanced Traffic Analytics. These capabilities collectively help organizations achieve accelerated time to market, enhanced security, scalable infrastructure, and lower total cost of ownership.
