Announcing IBM Concert Secure Coder: Bringing Security to the Moment Code is Written
IBM, Tuesday, May 5th, 2026
IBM introduces Concert Secure Coder to address vulnerabilities in real-time within developers' IDEs.
IBM announced Concert Secure Coder at Think 2026, a new tool designed to bring security directly into the developer experience by identifying and fixing vulnerabilities in real-time within integrated development environments.
The tool addresses the growing gap between AI-accelerated vulnerability discovery and the slower human-speed remediation processes that organizations currently employ. As part of IBM's broader Concert platform for IT Operations, Secure Coder integrates with Concert Protect to create a continuous exposure management system that detects, assesses, and remediates risks throughout the software development lifecycle.
By enabling developers to see risks and fixes as code is written rather than waiting for pull requests or production incidents, the solution helps organizations reduce technical debt, accelerate releases, and shift from reactive to built-in resilience approaches.
