Microsoft has announced new agreements with the Center for AI Standards and Innovation (CAISI) in the US and the AI Security Institute (AISI) in the UK to advance the science of AI testing and evaluation, including collaborative work to test frontier models and assess safeguards.
These partnerships are essential because rigorous testing is critical to building trust in advanced AI systems and managing national security and public safety risks. Microsoft will collaborate with CAISI and NIST on improving adversarial assessment methodologies and with AISI on frontier safety and security research.
