Scale AI, Wednesday, May 6th, 2026
Scale AI's Pentagon contract expands from $100M to $500M, enabling faster AI deployment across DoD.
Scale AI announced a five-fold expansion of its enterprise agreement with the U.S. Department of War's Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office, increasing the contract ceiling from $100 million to $500 million.
The expansion reflects strong demand from Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and defense agencies leveraging the Production Other Transaction Authority (OTA) agreement to accelerate AI capabilities without traditional procurement delays.
Scale's platform offerings include its Data Engine for computer vision, Scale GenAI Platform for secure model deployment on classified networks, and Scale Donovan for decision support, all accessible across NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS networks.
The partnership directly supports the Department of War AI Strategy by establishing robust data foundations and enabling rapid, agile AI deployment at the tactical edge while maintaining responsible AI principles.
