Trilio Extends Disaster Recovery Reach to Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization

Trilio launches disaster recovery support for Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization to protect containerized legacy VMs.
Trilio has announced a technology preview of its disaster recovery platform now supporting Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization, enabling IT teams to run legacy monolithic applications as containerized virtual machines on Kubernetes clusters.
The Trilio Site Recovery platform uses continuous replication to automate failover and failback operations across sites, with the flexibility to work across multiple storage platforms rather than being tied to a specific vendor.
This addition addresses a growing need as organizations consolidate IT infrastructure by running virtual machines on Kubernetes using KubeVirt software, while still maintaining disaster recovery capabilities defined by service level agreements.
Designed for Red Hat OpenShift 4.2 and higher, the solution allows IT teams to validate recovery plans in isolated environments without impacting production workloads.
