SAP CEO unveils new Business AI Platform to enable autonomous enterprises using agentic AI at scale.
At SAP Sapphire 2026, CEO Christian Klein announced the launch of the SAP Business AI Platform, designed to power autonomous enterprises by combining LLMs with 50 years of ERP business expertise.
The platform features a unified architecture bringing together SAP Business Technology Platform, Business Data Cloud, and AI Foundation, with a focus on delivering accurate, compliant, and secure outcomes for mission-critical business workflows.
SAP also announced the transformation of its SaaS portfolio into the SAP Autonomous Suite, spanning five domains with over 200 agents and 50 assistants mapped to core business roles, emphasizing that enterprise AI must move beyond consumer-grade accuracy to deliver meaningful business value.
