Cursor releases new tools for configuring cloud agent development environments with multi-repo support and improved governance controls.
Cursor has announced new tools for setting up and maintaining cloud agent development environments that enable teams to run parallelized agents end-to-end. The release includes multi-repo environment support allowing agents to work across multiple codebases, improved Dockerfile-based configuration with build secrets and faster layer caching, and Cursor can now auto-configure Dockerfiles by inspecting repository requirements.
Additional features include better agent-led environment setup with validation, environment version history with rollback capabilities, and governance controls such as scoped egress restrictions, secrets isolation, and comprehensive audit logging for security teams.
