Microsoft has introduced closed-loop learning for enterprise AI agents connected to the Power Apps MCP server, allowing them to automatically improve from user corrections without manual training.
The system uses two complementary approaches: memory-based optimization for immediate recall of corrections, and Genetic-Pareto optimization to distill corrections into generalized rules compiled into agent instructions.
Tested on UK Electoral Commission invoice data, the system reduced manual edits from 64% to 48% and improved extraction accuracy from 66.4% to 74.6%, demonstrating particular gains in country name recognition and address formatting. The entire feedback loop runs automatically within an organization's tenant without requiring data science teams or manual configuration.
