Red Hat Makes Bevy of Updates to Platforms for Running AI Workloads

Red Hat unveiled AI 3.4 with prompt management, safety testing, and new NVIDIA processor support.

Red Hat announced significant updates to its AI platform at Red Hat Summit, introducing Red Hat AI 3.4 with capabilities including prompt management tools, an evaluation hub, automated safety testing, and red-teaming features based on open source software from Chatterbox Labs and the Garak project.

The platform now includes MLflow governance framework, observability tools, Model Context Protocol support, and AI agent identity management. Red Hat also expanded hardware support with general availability for RHEL on NVIDIA Grace Blackwell processors and announced Fedora Hummingbird Linux optimized for AI agents, positioning itself as a Model-as-a-Service provider using curated open source technologies.
