Hitachi Vantara, Wednesday, May 27th, 2026
Hitachi Vantara enhances EverFlex with new SLAs and flexible consumption models for improved cost predictability and hybrid cloud modernization.
Hitachi Vantara announced expanded capabilities for Hitachi EverFlex, including new service-level agreements and simplified purchasing models designed to help organizations better plan, acquire, and scale infrastructure.
The enhancements feature mission-critical guarantees with contractual SLAs, standardized consumption and expansion models, and improved visibility through a unified control plane for usage monitoring. As consumption-based storage as a service is projected to replace 50% of on-premises enterprise storage CapEx by 2029, these flexible acquisition options support the shift toward services-based infrastructure that reduces costs and operational complexity.
The platform enables customers to align costs with usage, choose how much operational responsibility to retain, and support data-intensive AI workloads and hybrid cloud environments.
