Agentic AI Makes the Data Path a Security Control Plane

DDN, Monday, June 1st, 2026

NVIDIA Vera BlueField-4 STX moves AI security enforcement into silicon, and DDN provides the data foundation to support it.

As autonomous agents increasingly act on enterprise data without human oversight, security enforcement must happen at the data path rather than the host level. NVIDIA's Vera BlueField-4 STX moves security enforcement into dedicated silicon processors using DOCA services (Argus for threat detection, Vault for authorization, and Flow for network policy), enabling security to operate at 800 Gb/s without impacting GPU performance.

DDN's AI data intelligence platform complements this approach by providing the fast, predictable, and observable data layer needed to sustain high GPU utilization while maintaining security and governance.

Together, these technologies address the new threat model of agentic AI by enabling infrastructure-level trust and containment of autonomous agents across multi-tenant environments.
